    Protonix I.V. Pharmacologie

    Le pantoprazole est un benzimidazole substitué indiqué pour le traitement de courte durée (jusqu'à 16 semaines) dans la guérison et le soulagement symptomatique de l'oesophagite érosive. Le pantoprazole est un inhibiteur de la pompe à protons (IPP) qui supprime l'étape finale dans la production d'acide gastrique.

    Patients should be cautioned that PROTONIX Delayed-Release Tablets should not be split, crushed or chewed. The tablets should be swallowed whole, with or without food in the stomach. Concomitant administration of antacids does not affect the absorption of pantoprazole.
