    Terbinafine hydrochloride Pharmacologie

    La terbinafine est un agent antifongique allylamine et agit en inhibant la squalène epoxidase, bloquant ainsi la biosynthèse de l'ergostérol, un composant essentiel des membranes cellulaires des champignons. In vitro, chez les mammifères époxydase squalène est seulement inhibée à plus haute (4000 fois) sur les concentrations que nécessaire pour l'inhibition de l'enzyme dermatophytes. Selon la concentration de la drogue et le test des espèces fongiques In vitro, la terbinafine peut être fongicide. Cependant, la signification clinique des données in vitro est inconnue.
