    Mupirocine Farmacologia

    Mupirocina, un antibiotico prodotto da Pseudomonas fluorescens, è strutturalmente estraneo a qualsiasi altri antibiotici topici o sistemici. Mupirocina è usato per trattare infezioni causate da Staphylococcus aureus e beta-emolitici compresi Streptococcus pyogenes. Questo antibiotico ha poco, se del caso, il potenziale di resistenza crociata con altri antibiotici.

    Description

    Topical antiinfectives are used to treat or prevent minor skin infections caused
    by cuts or scraps. It is not effective against fungal or viral infections.

    or ointment evenly onto the affected area(s). You may cover the wound with a
    sterile bandage if desired.

    Missed Dose

    If your doctor has instructed you to take this medicine regularly and you miss a
    dose, take your next dose, as soon as you remember. If you are close to your next
    dose, do not double up. Skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule.

    Storage

    Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach
    of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture
    (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.

    See your doctor if your skin becomes red, swollen or if you skin conditions persists.
