    Decentan Indication

    Pour une utilisation dans la gestion des manifestations de troubles psychotiques et pour le contrôle des nausées et vomissements sévères chez les adultes.

    Decentan Pharmacologie

    Perphenazine est une phénothiazine pipérazinyle, agit sur le système nerveux central, et a une plus grande puissance de comportement que les autres dérivés de la phénothiazine dont les chaînes latérales ne contiennent pas de pipérazine fraction. Il est membre d'une classe de médicaments appelés phénothiazines, qui sont la dopamine antagonistes des récepteurs D1/D2. Perphenazine de 10 à 15 fois plus puissante que la chlorpromazine, ce qui signifie perphénazine est un hautement antipsychotique puissant. À des doses équivalentes a approximativement la même fréquence et la gravité de début et la fin extrapypramidal effets secondaires par rapport à l'halopéridol.

    Given the likelihood that a substantial proportion of patients exposed chronically to neuroleptics will develop tardive dyskinesia, it is advised that all patients in whom chronic use is contemplated be given, if possible, full information about this risk. The decision to inform patients and/or their guardians must obviously take into account the clinical circumstances and the competency of the patient to understand the information provided.
