Vigabatrine Indicacion
Para su uso como tratamiento adyuvante (con otros fármacos) en la epilepsia resistente al tratamiento, las convulsiones parciales complejas, crisis generalizadas secundarias, y para su uso en monoterapia en los espasmos infantiles en el síndrome de West.
Vigabatrine Farmacologia
Vigabatrina, es un anticonvulsivante no relacionado químicamente con otros anticonvulsivos. Vigabatrina inhibe el catabolismo de GABA. Es un análogo de GABA, pero no es un agonista de los receptores.
Vigabatrine Absorcion
Absorbe rápidamente tras su administración oral. Alimentos pueden disminuir ligeramente la tasa, pero no la extensión, de la absorción.

This medicine may reduce your ability to drive or operate machinery safely. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medicine affects you and you are sure it won't affect your performance. Avoid stopping this medicine suddenly. The dose of this medicine should be gradually decreased over a period of two to four weeks. After months to years of taking this medication, damage to vision may occur. Regular eye examinations should be conducted and notify your doctor if any change in vision occurs.
