Stable. Incompatible with oxidizing agents, aluminium, antioxidants.
Toxicology
Very toxic if inhaled, swallowed, or absorbed through the skin.
Many platinum compounds are sensitizers, so even low exposure may be
harmful if taking place repeatedly or over an extended period.
Experimental carcinogen, teratogen. IARC probable human carcinogen.
May cause reproductive damage.
Human mutagenic data. May cause severe allergic reaction, which may get worse
with continuing exposure.
