Mupirocina, un antibiotico prodotto da Pseudomonas fluorescens, è strutturalmente estraneo a qualsiasi altri antibiotici topici o sistemici. Mupirocina è usato per trattare infezioni causate da Staphylococcus aureus e beta-emolitici compresi Streptococcus pyogenes.
