    Para el tratamiento de la rinitis, urticaria, alergia, resfriado común, asma y fiebre del heno.

    NOV Farmacologia

    En las reacciones alérgicas de un alergeno interactúa con enlaces cruzados y la superficie de anticuerpos IgE en los mastocitos y basófilos. Una vez que los mastocitos antígeno-anticuerpo complejo está formado, de una compleja serie de acontecimientos que finalmente conduce a la degranulación de células y la liberación de histamina (y otros mediadores químicos) de los mastocitos o basófilos. Una vez liberada, la histamina puede reaccionar con los tejidos locales o generalizadas a través de los receptores de histamina. Histamina, que actúa en los receptores H1, produce prurito, vasodilatación, hipotensión, enrojecimiento, dolor de cabeza, taquicardia y broncoconstricción. La histamina también aumenta vascular la permeabilidad y la potencia del dolor. Clorfeniramina, es un antagonista de la histamina H1 (o más correctamente, un agonista de la histamina inversa) de la clase alquilamina. Compite con la histamina para el normal H1- sitios receptores en las células efectoras del tubo digestivo, los vasos sanguíneos y las vías respiratorias. Se proporciona un alivio eficaz y temporal de los estornudos, ojos llorosos y picazón y secreción nasal, debido a heno fiebre y otras alergias respiratorias superiores.

    May cause excitability especially in children. Do not take this product unless directed by a physician, if you have a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, or if you have glaucoma or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland. May cause drowsiness; alcohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness effect. Avoid alcoholic beverages, and do not take this product if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers without first consulting your physician. Use caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery.
