Flupenthixol Farmacologia
Flupentixol es un agente ansiolítico, antidepresivo y un estabilizador del ánimo. Que inhibe la monoamino receptores centrales, en especial la dopamina D1 y D2. Por lo tanto, aumenta la cantidad de serotonina y noradrenalina que controlan el ánimo y el pensamiento, y mejora el humor.

Patient Information:
Flupenthixol alone or with alcohol may cause blurred vision or drowsiness. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or performing other
activities that may become hazardous because of decreased alertness. Patients should be warned not to drink alcohol while taking
Flupenthixol.
Patients should discuss about the risks of taking Flupenthixol to the fetus and child with the doctors if they are breastfeeding,
pregnant or thinking about becoming pregnant.
Patients should be advised to use sunscreen and wear protective clothing to avoid sunburn, because flupenthixol can cause your skin to
be more sensitive to sunlight than it is normally.
